Based on the success of Lost Horizon Festival, Pansensory was brought on to provide technical guidance and platform expertise in the virtualization of Splendour in the Grass, a popular annual music festival in Byron Bay, Australia.
The festival went live in the Sansar virtual social platform on July 23rd and 24th (AEST).
Splendour XR was the most ambitious multi-day, multi-stage virtual music festival to date. Featuring international household name headliners including The Killers, Khalid, Charli XCX, CHVRCHES and Denzel Curry, the event took place across 2 days with 3 main stages and several smaller venues.
Attendees had their choice of viewing platform, with a full immersive experience available to PC VR and desktop users, while Mac, mobile and web browser options exist for an enhanced streaming experience that includes multi-camera view selection and in-app chat.
